Snowy Valleys Council has undertaken route safety review’s on a number of their high-speed rural roads connecting their communities to identify road safety risks, proposed road safety treatments that reduce the likelihood and/or severity of a potential crash and seek state/federal funding to support a program of works.

OUR ROLE

Rigore was engaged to undertake a road safety audit/route safety review of the existing road environment, develop a corrective action program consisting of road safety treatments that address the identified road safety risks and develop and quantify mass action treatments such as upgrading signage, delineation, audio tactile line marking, retrofit roadside safety barrier.
